I live in North Texas with my wonderful husband and our adorable rescue pup, Toby.
When I learned I had rheumatoid arthritis, I knew my life needed to change dramatically. I left the corporate world and now work from home, doing what I'm truly passionate about—helping crafting beginners learn to use their equipment and master new techniques.
I specialize in helping people who struggle with technology feel confident and capable. There's nothing wrong with needing extra patience or clearer explanations when it comes to tech—that's exactly why I'm here.

A: The Makers Corner Craft Community is completely FREE. No trial periods, no hidden costs, no automatic charges. The community and Resource Library are genuinely FREE.
Q: What's the catch? Why is it free?
A: There's no catch! I'm passionate about helping crafters succeed. Building a supportive community benefits everyone, and I may offer optional paid courses in the future, but the community itself remains free.
Q: Will I be constantly pressured to buy things?
A: Absolutely not. While I may share helpful product recommendations or mention optional courses, there's never any pressure to purchase anything.

Q: How much time do I need to spend in the community?
A: As much or as little as you want! Check in when you have questions, browse when you're inspired, or just lurk and learn. No requirements.
Q: Am I required to participate or post regularly?
A: Not at all. Many members prefer to read and learn without posting, and that's perfectly fine.
Q: Do I have to attend live sessions?

A: Not at all! Expensive equipment doesn't come with instant expertise. Everyone understands the learning curve.

A: Our community is genuinely supportive. We have a no-bully, no-diva, no-judgment policy and focus on helping each other succeed. I do not allow bullying, condescension, or attacks in any shape or form anywhere on Makers Corner Crafts. Anyone who breaks these rules will be removed from the community.
Q: What if there's drama or negativity?
A: We maintain a politics-free, drama-free environment with clear community guidelines. Golden rule applies to everyone.
Q: Will my questions get lost in a busy group?
A: Our community is designed to ensure questions get answered, not buried in overwhelming chatter.

Q: I don't have a Cricut - will this community still help me?
A: Yes! No cutting machine is required to be a member of our community. The only prerequisite we have is that you like to craft. We cover all the crafts!
Q: Do I need expensive equipment to participate?
A: Not at all! We help with whatever equipment you have, from basic machines to advanced setups. I am not an expert in everything, but someone in the community may be able to help while I get answers for your questions.
Q: What if I'm interested in crafts beyond cutting machines?
A: That's great, because we are interested in many different crafting types and techniques. We are here for all the crafts, not just cutting machine, vinyl, sublimation, and drinkware crafts.

A: Never. Your privacy is protected, and we don't share or sell member information.
Q: Can I use a different name or stay anonymous?
A: You can use whatever name makes you comfortable while participating.
